New Delhi : As per reports confirmed by sources,AIFF is all set to invite strong teams to play Champions Cup this year.

Among the teams on AIFF’s target, New Zealand and Armenia are confirmed names for invitation.

New Zealand participated in the FIFA Confederations Cup last year in Russia.

On the other hand ,Armenia National Team has players like Henrikh Mkhitaryan plying their trade in the Premier League.

Champions Cup is a 4-nation tournament which was proposed by AIFF and IMG-R last year, with a view to provide Indian National Team strong competitive matches.
